The Illinois Institute of Art will open a new campus in Tinley Park to better serve current and future students in the southern suburbs. The institute will join the operational campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign's College of Arts and Sciences, and the campus will offer a variety of programs for students, faculty, staff and staff of the institute in Chicago.

Tinley Park Art Center will host the award-winning event on Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Oak Park Civic Center. The market offers art, music, food, craftsmen, merchants and a variety of craft beer, wine, must, spirits, beer and wine from local breweries and oaks.

The Tinley Park Public Library Friends will sponsor the biennial shredder event at Tinley Park Public Library on Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Oak Park Civic Center. The event is open to the public and free of charge for children and adults with an adult registration fee.

As one of the most popular study programs offered at Tinley Park, Gray said he hopes the new location will be more convenient for current students and attract new people to enroll. The school has found a good market for its business with other for-profit areas, including the Oak Park Civic Center and Elmwood Park High School.
